SEASONS in the OKANAGAN moves into full stride
The Spa and Fitness Center opened to members last summer.
Residents of Seasons started to schedule their days around pool
time. Some members organized exciting doubles matches on the freshly
surfaced tennis court. Yoga classes are offered every Wednesday
evening and Saturday morning year round and participants appreciate
the patience and sensitivity of our instructor.
The Aveda Spa opened with a gala evening, and many members now sign
up for regular spa treatments at special discounted rates. The games
room recently opened with ping pong, foosball, air hockey, puzzles
and games. Since the Club is for members only, pretty much everybody
knows each other, and there is hardly ever a wait to use the
equipment. The fitness center is equipped with a large selection of
the latest Life Fitness machines, many of which are specialized for
stretching and gentle workouts.
The SEASONS boat storage facility is now open for residents. Many
homes overlook this area and beyond to the lake, no doubt looking
forward to the day when they can put their boats back into the lake
for another season on the water. Our storage facility is just 300
meters from the Paddlewheel Park boat launch and sandy beach.
About 50% of our residents are full time. This keeps the SEASONS
community vibrant throughout the year. At the annual Christmas party
pot luck all of the year round residents and lots of Albertans
staying in their homes for a holiday ski break enjoyed getting
together for festivities at the Club House.
This year the remaining 33 homes at Seasons are under construction.
We anticipate selling out by the end of 2008. All of the site
services are complete, so residents will not have to contend with
dust and construction activity by summertime when we have the
remaining homes finished and landscaped.
Growth in the Okanagan Valley, and particularly in Vernon, has many
benefits. We have more wineries, golf courses, restaurants, cultural
activities, ski lifts, farm markets and interesting new neighbors
than ever before. The City of Vernon has been diligently planning
improved city wide infrastructure, as well as local amenities in the
Okanagan Landing area. Last summer the City cut the ribbon
officially opening the Seasons Trail adjacent to our project,
connecting SEASONS to downtown. It is a wonderful scenic pathway
through the farm meadows popular for early morning walks and bike
rides. This year the trail will be extended even further and linked
to other trails in the area.
We invite you to visit SEASONS when you come to Vernon. SEASONS is
now a community that has taken root in the Okanagan. Golf courses
and Lake Okanagan are readily accessible at our front gate. Silver
Star Ski Resort is a twenty minute drive and most of our homes can
check out the daily ski conditions at Silver Star from their decks.
Our extensive landscaping is filling out, giving the community an
established and comfortable feeling. Come and join us for a tour of

SEASONS in the OKANAGAN has a Birthday – One Year Young and
Growing
Autumn is especially vibrant in the North Okanagan Valley. In the
opinion of our first SEASONS residents Ben and Judy Hoy, not much
can compare. Sunny weekends still find them taking evening sails to
secluded coves at Ellison Provincial Park for an early evening
dinner aboard. Back at their virtually no-maintenance lake view home
at SEASONS, they enjoy morning coffee on a bench along the eastern
side of their house listening to the trickle of water in an
enchanting rock water feature they installed. Later in the day they
preserve fruits from nearby farm markets, filling glass jars and
applying decorative labels for Christmas gifts to family and
neighbors. From their deck before long they will see the first
dusting of snow at nearby Silver Star Ski Resort, a sign that it is
time to store away golf clubs until next March.
SEASONS IN THE OKANAGAN is a beehive of activity this fall. More
than sixty-five homes are occupied and under construction, with
Phase 1 and Phase 2 sold out, and Phase 3 now selling for occupancy
in the new year. Our latest home designs resonated well with local
buyers and newcomers to the area from Alberta, the Coast, the US and
Europe. SEASONS is a prospering village style resort development. It
has become the place of choice on Lake Okanagan for full time
residents and seasonal owners. SEASONS now has more residents, and
homes sold, occupied and under construction than any new lake view
residential community in the Vernon area.
Rental income can be generated at SEASONS to defray carrying
costs. An affiliated company provides optional rental and home
management services customized to your requirements. The program is
very effective for buyers securing a foothold in the Okanagan with
plans to move here in several years. Fees are modest and based on
actual services required.
SEASONS homes are genuine homes, not small seasonally occupied
commercial / tourist accommodation tied to mandatory rental pools
with substantial management fees. We discourage short term weekend
type rentals that bring unfamiliar faces and lifestyle
incompatibilities into the community. Although SEASONS has the

The SEASONS CLUB and SPA is well underway and will open to
residents early in 2007. The fitness center will have cardio,
strength and stretch rooms with the latest equipment and
entertainment systems. The heated pool and hot tub are ready for
decorative tiling. The tennis court will be available for spring
play. The Spa at SEASONS will fly the AVEDA flag, and will offer
full spa services including a hair cutting salon, special massage
and treatment rooms, pedicure stations, and more. The swimming pool
patio will be the scene of evening wine and cheese parties. Lush and
colorful landscaping planted last spring has flourished in the
Okanagan sunshine with state of the art drip irrigation systems that
serve every house at SEASONS. The CLUB will be the social
centerpiece of the community, a place for residents of all ages to
enjoy a day in the Okanagan without driving anywhere. The nearby
sailing club offers family memberships with unlimited use of small
sail boats, and lessons for aspiring sailors of all ages.
SEASONS IN THE OKANAGAN is a successful community overlooking
Lake Okanagan. We have forty acres of gently sloping land directly
across Okanagan Landing Road from a pleasant beach park and boat

What feels better than anticipation of springtime in the Okanagan
Valley? In the opinion of new SEASONS residents Ben and Judy Hoy,
not much can compare. Ben is readying his sail boat at the Vernon
Yacht Club, which he can see from the deck of his new home. Judy is
thinking about what to plant in her new herb garden. Both Ben and
Judy are gourmet chefs who love to have neighbours to dinners that
they prepare with as many local Okanagan ingredients as possible.
Cozy meals in the dining room will switch to barbecues on the deck
in the coming weeks. And with the ski runs still in perfect
condition, the golf courses are opening, making this time of year
and this place really remarkable.

A busy opening year for us at SEASONS IN THE OKANAGAN in Vernon
Early winter is especially vibrant in the North Okanagan.
Dazzling yellow and red foliage stands out in the hillsides against
a backdrop of early clean white snow. Flights of migratory birds
descend to the lake. Locals and visitors tour the North Okanagan’s
quiet back roads and spend their first day on the ski slopes of
Silver Star Mountain. This week the World Cup cross country ski
races will be hosted at Sovereign Lakes.
Our SEASONS Club is under construction and scheduled for completion
in the spring. This $2.5 million dollar world class recreation
facility will be the social centerpiece of the community, featuring
a swimming pool and all season hot tub, tennis, a spa for massages
and other luxurious treatments, a neighborhood cafe, a superbly
equipped fitness facility, covered dining veranda and cozy fireplace
lounge. A place to exercise, relax and join friends and family for a
wonderful day in the Okanagan, right at home without getting in the
car.
Thirty-six lake-view homes will be ready for occupancy between now
and next spring. Thirty have already been purchased by buyers from
