Special Rental Program for SEASONS Owners

To accommodate our purchasers who plan to make seasonal visits for the time being, or who are buying purely for investment, we have made special arrangements with Paradise Resort Management Services to provide a wide range of rental and management services to homeowners. You can get a “foothold in the Okanagan” today while property is still affordable, and defray some carrying costs through an optional rental program until you are ready to live here full time.

Okanagan Vacation Rental & Property Management

At SEASONS IN THE OKANAGAN, rental management and individual home care services are offered on a fee-for-services basis tailored to each homeowner’s specific requirements. To meet the wide-ranging needs of our buyers, we have formed a non-exclusive relationship with Paradise Resort Management Services, a leading property management company specializing in North Okanagan resort properties.

Property owners at SEASONS IN THE OKANAGAN are not required to enter into a compulsory relationship with a rental management company selected by the developer. Owners are not obligated to pay standardized rental management fees. Furthermore, owners have no restrictions imposed by the City of Vernon on the length of time that they, their friends and relatives personally occupy their homes and condominiums.

Fees are payable for rental management services only when an individual property owner requests specific services. Customized rental management, maintenance and concierge services are available but not mandatory, encouraging each owner to select and pay for only the services required.

Long term rentals

These are rentals from several months to several years duration. Some property owners do not plan to use their condominiums for awhile, and they desire a steady flow of rental income to defray annual carrying costs, such as taxes and strata dues.

Vacation rentals (Short term rentals)

The minimum rental period permitted in the Bylaws of SEASONS IN THE OKANAGAN is 14 days. Short-term rental opportunities are generally available in the summer and shoulder seasons, and during winter and spring holiday periods. Paradise Resort Management Services offers a range of services to facilitate short-term property rentals, including advertising for tenants, rent collection, check in and check out procedures, cleaning and maintenance, and periodic inspections. Property management

Although some owners will not rent their homes and condominiums, they may still desire routine inspections, cleaning prior to arrival or following departure, advance bookings for golf, cultural activities, and wine tasting events, as well as key service for visiting friends and relatives.

Range of services available

Advertise for short and long term tenants on SEASONS IN THE OKANAGAN web site
Respond to inquiries for short and long term rentals via phone, e-mail and fax
Qualify prospective tenants, verify references and obtain credit history
Sign tenancy agreement and receive security deposit
Arrange for check in and check out
Inspect premises at the beginning and end of tenancy agreement and prepare report
Set up mid-stay cleaning services
Collect and remit the rent to the owner
Complete monthly inspections and report any necessary or anticipated repairs to the owner
Local contact for tenant inquiries and requests
Organize day trips, tee off times, winery tours and special experiences for owners and tenants and recommend Okanagan places to visit suited to individual taste
Retain contractors to carry out any required services
House monitoring, including periodic walk through, check furnace, run water and flush toilets, start vehicles, collect mail, set and monitor thermostat
Snow removal, grocery pickup, key depository, and other concierge services
